Photograph signed: "Adrian C. Boult". B/w, 3¼x4½. Sir Adrian Cedric Boult (1889-1983) conducted the BBC Symphony Orchestra (1930-1950) and the London Philharmonic (1950-1957). Music conductor at the coronation of King George V (1936), he was knighted the following year. Boult authored two books and several essays on music and conducting. Signed boldly over a very faint signature which read "Good wishes from Adrian C. Boult". Ink note on verso (no show through). Otherwise, fine condition.
