SIR ADRIAN C. BOULT
The famed conductor signs and dates his autograph in 1939.
Signature: "Adrian Cedrik Boult/November 1939", 6¼x5 album leaf. Printed caption affixed at bottom center. Boult (1889-1983) conducted the BBC Symphony Orchestra (1930-1950) and the London Philharmonic (1950-1957). Music conductor at the coronation of King George V (1936), he was knighted the following year. Boult authored two books and several essays on music and conducting. Tape remnants and slight paper loss at left edge. Slightly soiled. Otherwise, fine condition.
