Autograph sentiment signed "Sincerely your's/James Page". With pencil marks in unknown hand. 1½x3¾, mounted to a piece of cardstock. Paget (1814-1899, born in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England) was one of the founders of the modern science of pathology. Page discovered "Trichinella spiralis", the worm that causes trichinosis, in 1834. He was also one of the first to describe "osteitis deformans", now called Paget's disease, in 1877. Paget was a surgeon to Queen Victoria from 1858 to 1877. He was created a baronet in 1871. Lightly toned and soiled. Pencil marks touch signature. Folded once and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
