Signature: "John Waldron", 5¾x4 album leaf. Ink note (unknown hand): "Sir John Waldron 3-23-72". John Waldron (1909-1975) became a British police officer in 1934. During World War II, he was Deputy Inspector General in Ceylon. Waldron was made a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (KCVO) in 1966. From 1968 to 1972, he was Commissioner of the London Metropolitan Police. Left edge ragged from previous binding. Otherwise, fine condition.
