Coward also wrote musicals, revues, short stories, and a novel, and his third (unfinished) volume of his autobiography, Past Conditional, was published posthumously in 1986. In 1943, Coward won a Special Academy Award for In Which We Serve, a WWII movie in which he starred, wrote the script, produced, directed and composed the musical score.
