The Dukes of Hazzard and V.
Document signed "Skip Ward" in green ink. Green and blue ink
notations and lead pencil marks in unknown hand. 2 pages, 6¼x9¼, 1 sheet, front
and verso. With 6½x3¼ initiation fee receipt carbon copy with perforated left

with uncredited roles in Run Silent Run Deep and Tarawa Beachhead
and his TV debut in an episode of Suspicion. Former Air Force pilot
Ward (1932-2003), born Rufus King Ward and sometimes billed as James
Ward, appeared in over 40 movies and TV shows between 1958 and 1994. He was
usually relegated to the supporting cast and, though he worked with big names
like Jerry Lewis and Elvis Presely, never became a big name himself (although he
did have starring roles in the 1967 Presley vehicle Easy Come, Easy Go
and 1969's The Mad Room). Ward was a frequent face on TV, with numerous
one-shot roles and repeat appearances on The F. B. I. (1965-1969). He
stepped behind the camera in 1978 and became a producer on several TV
projects between 1978 and 2000, including The Dukes of Hazzard (1978)
and the serialized version of V (1984-1985). Lightly toned and
creased. Receipt has carbon copy marks and was folded once and unfolded.
