Commemorative Envelope signed: "John H. Casper", "Andrew Allen", "Pierre Thuot", "Sam Gelman", "Marsha Ivins", 6½x3½. Envelope postmarked Kennedy Space Center, March 4, 1994 and March 18, 1994. Space shuttle mission STS-62, aboard Columbia, launched from the Kennedy Space Center on March 4, 1994 and returned to to the same site on March 18. The primary payloads were a microgravity experiment package and the OAST-2 engineering and technology package. The 2-week mission also featured biomedical experiments focusing on the effects of long duration spaceflights.The crew included Commander JOHN H. CASPER; Pilot ANDREW M. ALLEN; and Mission Specialists PIERRE J. THUOT, CHARLES D. "SAM" GEMAR, AND MARSHA S. IVINS. Every member of this crew was a spaceflight veteran.Fine condition.
