Space shuttle mission STS-119, the 125th orbital shuttle flight and the 36th flight of Discovery, was the 28th mission to the International Space Station, carrying a replacement crew to the ISS and conducting 3 space walks to deploy new equipment there. The mission took place from March 15 to 28, 2009. The crew included Mission Commander Lee J. Archimbault; Pilot Dominic A. "Tony" Antonelli; Mission Specialists Joseph Acaba, Steven Swanson, John Phillips and Richard Arnold; and ISS Flight Engineer Koichi Wakata. Phillips and Wakata were on their third flights into space, Archambault and Swanson on their second journeys, and the other crew members on their maiden voyages. Swanson, Arnold and Acaba performed two space walks each of over six hours duration, working on the exterior of the space station. Fine condition.
