Commemorative Envelope signed: "Tom Henricks", "Keven Kregel", "Nancy Currie", "Don Thomas", "Mary Ellen Weber", 6½x3½. Envelope postmarked Kennedy Space Center, July 13 and July 22, 1995. Space shuttle mission STS-70, 21st flight of Discovery, launched from the Kennedy Space Center on July 13, 1995 and returned to the same site on July 22. This flight, the last of 7 to carry a Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS), was the first controlled from the new mission control center at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. It was the first flight equipped with the new Block 1 orbiter main engine, designed to improve both performance and safety. This launch also represented the swiftest shuttle turnaround, launched only six days after the landing of sister ship Atlantis. The crew included Commander TOM HENRICKS; Pilot KEVIN KREGEL; AND Mission Specialists NANCY CURRIE, DONALD THOMAS and MARY ELLEN WEBER. Fine condition.
