Commemorative Envelope signed: "Bob Cabana", "F W Sturckow", "Nancy Currie", "Jerry Ross", "Jim Newman", 6½x3½. Envelope bears two postmarks from the Kennedy Space Center, December 4 and December 15, 1998. Space shuttle mission STS-88, the 93rd flight of a space shuttle, was launched from Kennedy Space Center on December 4, 1998 and returned safely to the same site on December 15. Three spacewalks connected the power and transmission cables between the two. Other payloads on this mission included the IMAX Cargo Bay Camera, the Argentine Scientific Application Satellite, the MightySat 1 "Hitchiker", and a Space Experiment Module from the University of Michigan. The crew was composed of Commander ROBERT CABANA; Pilot FREDERICK W. STURCKOW; and Mission Specialists NANCY CURRIE, JERRY ROSS and JAMES NEWMAN. Fine condition.
