caption. Stacy Keach, Sr. (1914-2003), father and namesake of another
well-known actor, was a stage performer from the late 1930s, and a prolific
TV guest star from the mid-1950s. Although he never had his own series, he
was a familiar face for Western fnas, with multiple appearances on The Lone
Ranger, Maverick, Wagon Train, Cheyenne, Bonanza
and others. From the 1970s onward his fare was more varied, with many crime
dramas, comedies and even prime time soaps. He may be best remembered as
"Carlson" on Get Smart (1966-1967). His last appearance was on his
son's program, Mike Hammer, Private Eye (1998). The elder Keach
was also a notable drama teacher and dialogue coach. Binding holes on left
margin. Corners slightly worn. Fine condition.
