Advertisement signed: "Stan Musial". Color, 36x14 pennant-shaped advertisement for Stan the Man Baseball Equipment, affixed to identically sized foam-core board, signed under his image at left. The St. Louis Cardinals' Stan "the man" Musial (1920-2013) hit at least .300 for sixteen consecutive years. At his retirement after the 1963 season, the three-time Most Valuable Player held the National League record for most runs, hits, doubles, and RBIs. Musial appeared in 24 All-Star games, won seven batting titles, and had a lifetime batting average of .331. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1969. Sections of double-sided tape intended for mounting inside a window or display case, covered by 4x¾ strips of protective brown paper, at each edge and center on top and bottom. Some paper loss in lower right corner, with white tape used to repair top of "T" in "equipment". Lightly soiled. Otherwise, fine condition.
