Lithograph signed: "Stan Musial" in pencil. Color, 18x24. Limited edition, number 16/475. Also signed by the artist: "Christopher Paluso". © 1989. The St. Louis Cardinals' Stan "the Man" Musial (1920-2013) hit at least .300 for sixteen consecutive years. At his retirement after the 1963 season, the three-time Most Valuable Player held the National League record for most runs, hits, doubles, and RBIs. The Hall of Famer appeared in 24 All-Star games, won seven batting titles and had a lifetime batting average of .331. Nicknamed "The Man" by admiring Brooklyn Dodgers' fans, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1969. Slightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
