Bridges as an alien scientist trying to return to his people and Allen as Jenny
Hayden, the human woman who falls in love with him. Bridges was nominated for
an Oscar for his performance in Starman. BRIDGES, born in Los
Angeles, California in 1949, is the son of actor Lloyd and younger brother of
Beau and earned Oscar nominations for his performances in The Last Picture

The Contender (2000). His other films include The Fisher King
(1991), The Big Lebowski (1993) and Seabiscuit (2003). In addition
to his acting achievements, Bridges has also written some 200 songs, a
talent that he memorably incorporated in The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989),
in which he starred as Jack Baker. Multitalented director, producer, actor,
composer and writer CARPENTER, born in Carthage, New York in 1948, began
making short films in 1962, and he won the Academy Award for Best Live-Action
Short Subject just eight years later (The Resurrection of Broncho
Billy, 1970). Carpenter began directing features in 1962, with Revenge of
the Colossal Beasts, setting the tone for the horror and suspense movies
that would follow, including Halloween (1978), Escape from New
York, The Fog (1981), The Thing, They Live
(1988), Escape from L.A. (1996) and Vampires (1998).
Carpenter, who formed a band, The Coupe de Villes, in the mid-1970s, has also
composed the scores for a number of films. Some of his music, such as
"Halloween Theme", has been heard in other films and on TV shows. An occasional
actorwho appears in his own films under the name of Rip Haight,
Carpenter has been seen in features including The Fog and Village of
the Damned (1995) as well as his made-for-TV movie, Body Bags (1993).
Carpenter has been married to his second wife, script supervisor and
sometimes his co-producer, Sandy King, since 1990. ALLEN, born in
Carrollton, Illinois in 1951, is an American actress with over 50 movies and TV
shows to her credit. Allen started as a stage actress but got her most
celebrated film assignment as Marion in Steven Spielberg's Raiders of the
Lost Ark (1981), a role she reprised in the third sequel Indiana
Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008). Among her more notable
screen appearances since Raiders are Starman, The Glass
Menagerie (1987), Malcolm X (1992) and In the Bedroom (2001).
