Newspaper photograph signed: "Stephane/Richer/44", in purple ink, 6½x7¼ B/w photograph affixed to a 6¾x7¾ card. Stephane Richer (b. 1966) is a retired NHL player, playing for 17 seasons with the Montreal Canadiens (1984-1991, 1996-1998), New Jersey Devils (1991-1996, 2001-2002), Tampa Bay Lightning (1997-2000), St. Louis Blues (1999-2000), and the Pittsburgh Penguins (2001). His most successful time was with the Montreal Canadiens, being the only player to score 50 goals while with the team. Despite his skill and advantages, Richer was often accused of playing easy on the ice unless it was a playoff game or championship. Despite this, he's won two Stanley Cups in his career, one with the Canadiens (1986) and one with the New Jersey Devils (1995). In total, he played 1054 games, scoring 421 goals and aiding in 398 assists. Light surface creases from adhesion. Lightly soiled. Lightly toned. Corners lightly worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
