Lawrence, who began recording when he was 16 years of age, had a No. 1 hit in 1963 with "Go Away, Little Girl", was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical in 1964 for his performance in What Makes Sammy Run? His television credits include two of his own series, The Steve Lawrence-Eydie Gormé Show (1958) and The Steve Lawrence Show (1965), frequent performances in skits on The Carol Burnett Show, guest hosting The Tonight Show (1962), and guest appearances on TV variety shows, games shows and series. Lawrence has also been seen in several feature films, including The Blues Brothers (1980), The Blues Brothers 2000 (1998) and Ocean's 11 (2001). Gormé was a regular on Steve Allen's Tonight Show (1954-1957). She was a very popular TV guest star, peaking in the 1960s and 1970s. She won two Grammys, the first with husband Lawrence for Pop Duo (1960), the second on her own for best Female Pop Vocal ("If He Walked Into My Life", 1966). She had her biggest hit, "Blame It on the Bossa Nova" in 1963. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine condition.
