STEVE PERRY
Signed letter from the sci-fi writer saying that unfortunately he is
not Steve Perry, the rock star, though the confusion comes up often: "I have
been getting mail and email intended for him for years"
Typed letter signed: "Steve Perry", in blue ink, 8½x11. April
20, 2001.Oregon. In part: "Dear Ms. Walinski, I hate to have
to tell you this, but I'm afraid I'm not the Steve Perry you're looking for. I'm
not the rock singer, only a writer. This happens fairly often. Somehow people
get my literary agent's address and believe they are writing to
Steve-with-Journey's agent. I have been getting mail and email intended for him
for years; unfortunately, I don't know where to forward it, else I would".
