STEVEN SEAGAL
Laserdisc cover for Under Siege signed by star Seagal
Laserdisc signed "Steven Seagal" in blue ink. Color, 12¼x12¼. Disc not included. Content and artwork ©1992 Warner Bros., photography ©1992 Warner Bros., Regency Enterprises V. O. F. & Le Studio Canal+, package design and summary ©1993 Warner Home Video. Under Siege (1992) starred Seagal as a SEAL-turned-Navy cook who must stop terrorists from stealing nuclear warheads from a battleship. Seagal, born in Lansing, Michigan in 1951, spent many years in Asia studying Buddhism and the martial arts and believes himself to be the reincarnation of a Tibetan lama. His years in Asia are somewhat mysterious, but he certainly worked for Tibetan independence from China and has hinted at connections with the CIA. Seagal's films typically combine nonstop action with environmental, social and spiritual concerns. Popular examples include his biggest hit, Under Siege (1994), and Executive Decision (1996). In 1999 he produced a very different film, The Prince of Central Park, a gentle story of a runaway boy. Lightly scuffed and creased. Light scratches (not visible head-on) and impressions on cover. Light impression of disc on cover. Otherwise in fine condition.
