Soderbergh became the youngest winner of the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film
Festival (1989) for his sex, lies and videotape. Other films
followed, including Out of Sight (1998), but Soderbergh really hit the
big time in 2000 as the first person nominated for two Best Director
Oscars, for films which both received Best Picture nominations: Traffic
and Erin Brockovich. After directing the star-studded, successful
remake of Ocean's Eleven (2002), he formed along with George Clooney a
production company whose early work has included Far From Heaven (2002),
and 2005's Good Night and Good Luck and Syriana. Soderbergh also
directed the TV series K Street (2003). Fine condition.
