White (1873-1901, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan) was an American author and conservationist known for his adventure and metaphysical books. He published a number of books between 1901 and 1947, many of which were motivational works inspired by his own adventures. His most famous book is probably The Blazed Trail (1902), a muckraking book about the lumber trade. He later published books on mysticism, including The Betty Book (1937) and The Unobstructed Universe (1940), the second about his communication with his dead wife Betty. Lightly toned and creased.
