'Arnie'". Addressed on verso in Langdon's hand: "Robert L White/16
Park Drive/Baltimore Maryland/21228". Postmarked Calabases, California,
December 11, 1971. Sue Ane Langdon, on stage since childhood, moved from
chorus lines at Radio City Music Hall and in Las Vegas to play briefly Alice
Kramden in "Honeymooners" skits on Jackie Gleason's TV show in 1962. She
appeared with Elvis Presley in two movies, Roustabout (1964) and
Frankie and Johnny (1966). After a short period in which she flaunted her
good looks, including posing for "Playboy" magazine, Langdon concentrated on
comedy. She earned a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in the TV
series Arnie (1970-1972). Cancellation impressions show through
faintly, touching inscription. Pencil note (unknown hand) on address side, which
is lightly soiled. Overall, fine condition.
