Printed photograph signed: "Susanne/ Severeid" in black ink. B/w, 8x10. After being discovered by a photographer and signed with a top modelling agency, California native Susanne Severeid (b. 1955) soon became the top model and commercial actress of the entire West Coast. In addition to her corporate film appearances and voice-overs, she made appearances in television series such as T.J. Hooker (1983), The Paper Chase (1983) and Santa Barbara (1986-1988). In the 1990s she moved to Europe where she taught public speaking at the University of Amsterdam, and performed in series such as Zeg 'ns Aaa (1991), Goede tijden, slechte tijden (1993), and Coverstory (1995). Her famous "yellow towel" celebrity poster was a top-seller, and the towel used in the photo was auctioned off to raise money for family of Vietnam War veterans. Severeid is also the author of mystery novel "The Death of Milly Mahoney"(2005). Corners rounded. Slightly soiled on verso. Small stains throughout. Otherwise, fine condition.
