Sale Price $180.00
Signed b/w photo of Pleshete from the shoulders up in earrings and black low-cut blouse
Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Darey/Best Wishes/Suzanne/Pleshette". B/w, 8x10 overall, 7¼x9½ image, one surface. After some TV experience, Pleshette (1937-2008, born in New York City) made her film debut in Jerry Lewis' The Geisha Boy (1958), then went on to replace Ann Bancroft as star of Broadway's The Miracle Worker in 1961. She is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show (1972-1978). Pleshette later starred in several short-lived TV series, including Maggie Briggs (1984), Bridges to Cross (1986), and The Boys Are Back (1994), and has also been a ubiquitous presence in such made-for-TV movies as Leona Helmsley: The Queen of Mean (1990). Anime fans may know her as the voices of the witches Yubaba and Zeniba from the English-dubbed release of Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away (2001). Lightly creased, especially at top edge. Otherwise in fine condition.
