Signature: “Suzy / Bogguss”. 3x5 index card. Singer-songwriter Suzy Bogguss (b. 1956) began her career singing swing and jazz along with her own folk and country songs. She got her first break when she opened for Ray Benson and his band, Asleep at the Wheel, in 1984. The following year, she moved to Nashville, where she was "discovered" while singing at Dollywood, Dolly Parton's theme park, and given a recording contract. Her hits include "Just Like the Weather" (1993), “Outbound Plane” (1991), and “Letting Go” (1991). Bogguss has recorded a number of studio albums, two of which are certified Gold and one certified Platinum. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine condition.
