Swedish explorer Sven Hedin (1865-1952) was the last person to receive
Swedish knighthood (1902). Between the years 1893 and 1935, he made four
expeditions to Central Asia. Hedin cartographed significant areas in
Pamir, Taklamakan, Tibet and Transhimalaya (also called Hedin Mountains).
Ink note (unknown hand) at lower edge, not touching signature. Lightly soiled.
Overall, fine condition.
