SWASHBUCKLER MOVE CAST: ROBERT SHAW and GENEVIEVE BUJOLD The two film stars are shown embracing in a scene from Swashbuckler (1976) Printed Photograph signed in Ink: "Robert Shaw" and "Much love/Genevieve Bujold", in black ink. B/w, 10x8. Shown together in a movie still from Swashbuckler (1976). Although British actor ROBERT SHAW (1927-1978) began his career in Shakespearean plays, he is best known for his role as Quint in the 1975 blockbuster, Jaws. Shaw, who broke into British films as a character actor, had his break-through role in 1963's From Russia With Love, and he would later be nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his role as Henry VIII in A Man for All Seasons (1966). His other film roles include The Lavender Hill Mob (1951), Young Winston (1972), The Sting (1973), The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974), Robin and Marian (1976), The Deep (1977) and Force 10 from Navarone (1978). Shaw, also an accomplished writer, was nominated for a Tony Award in 1969 for his play, The Man in the Glass Booth, wrote for such television series as Highway Patrol and Kraft Television Theatre, and penned several novels, including The Hiding Place, which was made into a feature film, Situation Hopeless...But Not Serious, in 1965. With her warm, intelligent performances and piercing almond eyes, the French-Canadian actress GENEVIEVE BUJOLD (b.1942) cut a striking figure throughout the international film community during the 1960s and beyond. She starred as Anne Boleyn in 1969's Anne of the Thousand Days, a performance that earned her an Academy Award nomination and made her a star. A few of her other films include Earthquake (1974), Coma (1978) Tightrope (1984) and Dead Ringers (1988). Lightly bowed. Otherwise, fine condition.
