TED LINDSAY
The four-time Stanley Cup Champion signs a 5x3 card with a black and white newspaper photograph of him affixed.
Signature: "Ted Lindsay" in black felt tip, 5x3 card. With a 1½x2 black and white newspaper photograph affixed (2 surfaces). Ted Lindsay (1925-2019) is a former NHL hockey player for the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks. A four-time Stanley Cup winner, he scored over 800 points during his 17-year career and won the Art Ross Trophy in the 1949-1950 season for scoring 78 points, more than any other player that year. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966, the first year after his final season. He was also a rough player, earning him the nickname "Terrible Ted"; the NHL developed elbowing and kneeing penalties in part because of his aggressive play. Lindsay also helped to organize the National Hockey League Players Association. Lightly worn at edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
