TERRELL DAVIS
Signed limited edition, hand painted celluloid sheet against a lithographic background, with photo image of Davis rendering his famed "mile high salute," US flag behind him, while Warner Bros. cartoon characters also salute. Matted and framed to 24x32.
Original Art signed: "30/Terrell Davis", framed 24x32 overall, 14x22 opening. Limited edition (#273 of 500), hand inked and hand painted celluloid sheet mounted against a lithographic background. Davis, in Denver Broncos uniform with a US flag behind him, is saluting, as are an assortment of well-known Warner Bros. cartoon characters. Image is flanked by printed logos of Looney Tunes, the National Football League, and the Denver Broncos. Terrell Davis, who played college ball at Long Beach State and then the University of Georgia, was a running back for the Denver Broncos of the NFL from 1995 to 2002, helping the team to victory in Super Bowls XXXII and XXXIII. A three-time Pro Bowl selection, he is the Broncos' all-time rushing leader (7,607 yards). Davis, called "TD" by fans and teammates (both for his initials and his touchdowns), was known for his military-style "mile high salute" in celebration of touchdowns. Davis is now an analyst for the NFL Network. Minor indentations in frame. Otherwise, fine condition. Framed, not by HistoryForSale.
