ROBERT DRIVAS (1938-1986) was an actor and director, Bad Habits being one of the plays he directed. Following his graduation from the University of Chicago, Drivas went on to train at the Greek Playhouse in Athens, Greece. He acted in several Florida stage productions and then made his Broadway debut in 1958 playing the role of Rameses in The Firstborn. After appearing in a handful of other roles, Drivas turned his attention toward directing. Drivas even won an Obie Award for Bad Habits, the play highlighted in this piece. TERRENCE MCNALLY (b.1938) was a playwright and screenwriter whose career has spanned five decades. Considered to be one of the most respected contemporary playwrights, he has received Tony Awards for Best Play for Love! Valour! Compassion! and Master Class. McNally's Bad Habits premiered Off-Broadway in 1974, eventually transitioning to the Broadway stage for the 1973-1974 season. Moreover, he was awarded a Tony for Best Book of a Musical for both Kiss of the Spider Woman and Ragtime. Stained and scuffed throughout. Lightly toned. Left edge irregular from being torn from magazine. Corners and edges lightly worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
