captioned: "New York Yankees/1961 World Champions", with names of all players
pictured supplied at bottom. Except for Duren - who is not pictured - and the
unidentified signer, each has signed on his image. The 1961 Yankees, who went
109-53 and easily bested the Cincinnati Reds in a 5-game World Series, are
considered one of the greatest baseball teams of all time. Manager Houk, in
his first year at the helm, brought in Sain as pitching coach and produced a
team whose pitching and defense, as well as its more heralded hitting, were the
best in the league. Fine condition.
