Collection: The 1961 New York Yankees, who went 109-53 as sluggers Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris chased Babe Ruth's single season home run record, easily bested the Cincinnati Reds in a 5-game World Series. Thirty three signatures of players and coaches from this historic team are featured in this collection. Out of the thirty three signers, thirteen are now deceased, Mickey Mantle (1931-1995), Ralph Houk (1919-2010), Bill Stafford (1939-2001), Jesse Gonder (1936-2004), Johnny Blanchard (1933-2009), Johnny Sain (1917-2006), Clete Boyer (1937-2007), Ryne Duren (1929-2011), Thomas Tresh (1938-2008), Deron Johnson (1938-1992).
