The Addams Family, a TV sitcom inspired by the cartoons of Charles Addams, was broadcast on ABC from 1964 to 1966. Actor/director JOHN ASTIN (b. 1930) is best known for his role as family patriarch Gomez Addams on The Addams Family. He reprised his role in the 1979 television film, Halloween With the Addams Family, and lent his voice to the Saturday morning cartoon version of his TV series. Astin, who made his film debut in West Side Story (1961), was nominated for a 1968 Academy Award for Best Live Action Short for Prelude. He was married to actress Patty Duke from 1972-1985. LISA LORING (born in the Marshall Islands in 1958) is best known for her role as Wednesday Friday Addams in the series and related movies, also starred on two other series, The Pruitts of Southampton (1966-1967) and the soap opera, As the World Turns (1981-1983). Loring has made a handful of feature films, mostly bloody ones (Frenzy, 1987; Iced, 1988). KEN WEATHERWAX (1958-2014), who played Pugsley Addams in the series, proved too typecast for most on-screen roles, has worked as a studio technician and set builder, and as a voice-over actor. He is also popular at fan conventions. Fine condition.
