THE BEE GEES: ROBIN GIBB, BARRY GIBB and MAURICE GIBB
Robin, Barry and Maurice Gibb, who performed together as the Bee Gees, pose next to a classic automobile.

Photograph signed: "Robin Gibb", "[Barry's unique signature]" and "Peace/Maurice Gibb". B/w, 10x8 overall, image 9¼x6¼ (one surface). The Gibb brothers, born in England but raised in Australia, had a series of hit records in the late 1960s, including "Massachusetts", "I've Gotta Get a Message to You" and "To Love Somebody". They returned to even greater popularity with the disco soundtrack to the hit film, Saturday Night Fever (1977). As they evolved into different musical styles, the high quality of their voices and harmonies remained constant. The popular group consisted of BARRY (born in 1946), who was known for his distinctive falsetto voice, and fraternal twin brothers MAURICE (1949-2003) and ROBIN (1949-2012). A fourth Gibb brother, ANDY (1958-1988), was a popular solo artist who died in 1988 at age 30. Barry, who is also a composer and producer, mentored contestants on the popular TV show, American Idol, in May 2007, and he sang his own composition, "To Love Somebody", on the results show. Light paper clip impression at upper margin and background. Minor surface creases (not evident head on). Fine condition.
