Frick Baseball signed in black ink by the following members of the 1948 National League champion Boston Braves: Alvin Dark, Mike McCormick, Johnny Sain, Sibby Sisti, Nelson Potter, Eddie Stanky, Tommy Holmes, Phil Masi, Billy Southworth, Fred Fitzsimmons, John Antonelli, Bill Voiselle, Bill Salkheld, Bob Elliott, Red Barrett, Ernie White, Frank McCormick, Johnny Cooney, Clyde Shoun, Jim Russell, Vern Bickford, Warren Spahn, Earl Torgeson, Connie Ryan and one unidentified signature. The Boston Braves (1871-1952), which became the Milwaukee Braves for 13 years before becoming today's Atlanta Braves, is the longest continuously active team in baseball history. In 1948, the cry of "Spahn and Sain and two days of rain" was first heard, as WARREN SPAHN and JOHNNY SAIN won 39 games to help the team win the National League pennant.
