Card signed by all three of the Boswell Sisters: Connee (signing as
"Connie"), Martha and Helvetia (signing as "Vet"). The Boswell
Sisters were one of the hottest vocal acts of the 1930s.

card. Connee Boswell was born Connie. THE BOSWELL SISTERS were
sisters CONNEE (1907-1976), HELVETIA (1911-1988),also
known as "Vet", and MARTHA (1905-1958).They began singing
professionally in New Orleans in the 1920s and, after honing their act in
vaudeville, caught fire in 1930. Known for tight harmonies and energetic vocals,
they were one of the most popular vocal acts of the early to mid-1930s.
Together, they recorded 20 Top 20 records and scored a No. 1 hit with
1935's The Object of My Affection. The act broke up in 1936 when
Martha and Helvetia married, leaving Connee to a fairly successful solo career.
Lightly toned, soiled and creased. Paper loss and adhesive residue on verso (no
show-through). Otherwise, fine condition.
