lower margin. The Chase starred Marlon Brando (pictured) as Sheriff Calder, who keeps peace
in the Texas town of Tarl - until the escape of Bubber Reeves (Robert Redford). E.G.
MARSHALL starred as Val Rogers, a local kingpin who appointed the Sheriff, JANE
FONDA was Anna Reeves, the wife of the escaped convict, and ANGIE DICKINSON
portrayed the sheriff's wife, Ruby Calder. Everett G. (E.G.) Marshall (1914-1998) appeared
in a number of feature films, including The Caine Mutiny (1954) and Twelve Angry Men
(1957). Marshall won two Emmy Awards for his portrayal of lawyer Lawrence Preston on
TV's The Defenders (1961-1965). Jane Fonda (born 1937), the daughter of actor Henry
Fonda and former wife of media mogul Ted Turner, won Academy Awards for Best
Actress for Klute (1971) and Coming Home (1978). She was nominated for Oscars in the
same category for They Shoot Horses, Don't They (1969), Julia (1977), The China
Syndrome (1978), On Golden Pond (1981, her father's last film) and The Morning After
(1986). Angie Dickinson (born Angeline Brown in 1931) is perhaps best known for her
starring role on the TV series Police Woman (1974-1978), for which she won a 1974
Golden Globe. Dickinson's many films include Rio Bravo (1959), Point Blank (1967),
Dressed to Kill (1980) and both the original and remake of Ocean's Eleven (1960, 2001).
Lightly stained at blank margins. Tape remnants at upper and lower left margins. Tack holes
at upper margin and at lower blank corners. ½-inch tear at mid-right blank margin. Otherwise,
fine condition.
