unknown hand. B/w, 8x10 overall, 7¼x9¼ image, one surface. THE COWSILLS, a family
band comprised of mother Barbara with children SUE, JOHN, BOB, Bill, BARRY and
PAUL, were one of the biggest pop acts of the 1960s and the real-life inspiration for
The Partridge Family TV series. Active from 1966 to 1971, the Cowsills were known for
their sunny melodies and placed three Top 10 hits on the Billboard Pop Singles chart: The
Rain, The Park & Other Things (1967), Indian Lake (1968) and Hair (1969). Lightly toned,
creased and bowed. Signatures have light contrast but are legible. Pen skipped while writing
signatures and inscription, which are still legible. Light impressions on image (not visible
head-on). Ink notes (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
