With members Harry Douglas, Carter Wilson, Edward Ware, Vernon Gardner and Cam Williams (pianist), the Deep River Boys performed gained their earliest successes on European tours. They are known for their hits "September Song", "Lucky Black Cat" and "Smack Dab in the Middle." They also performed classic renditions of "Recess in Heaven" and "The Stars are the Windows of Heaven." The Deep River Boys also toured with Count Basie, Fats Waller, Charlie Christian and Thelma Carpenter. Toned. Lightly soiled. Corners rounded, slightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
