THE FOG MOVIE CAST: JANET LEIGH and JAMIE LEE CURTIS
Mother and daughter sign this still from John Carpenter's thriller, The Fog (1980)
Printed Photograph signed in Ink: "Janet Leigh", in blue ink and "Jamie Lee Curtis", in black ink. B/w, 10x8. Captioned, in part: "Janet Leigh (left) and Jamie Lee Curtis are terrorized by the approach of an eerie, unearthly presence in this climactic scene from John Carpenter's 'THE FOG,' a contemporary tale of supernatural terror." News of the disappearance of a fishing boat reaches the wife of one of the fishermen, city councilwoman Kathy Williams (Leigh). She decides to investigate with the help of a teenage drifter, Elizabeth Solley (Curtis). This 1980 movie was the first film starring both the mother and daughter. The former spouse of Tony Curtis, JANET LEIGH (1927-2004) was one of Hollywood's biggest stars from the late 1940s into the 1960s. Best remembered for her Oscar-nominated murder victim in the shower in Psycho (1960), she also starred in such films as Little Women (1949), Scaramouche (1952), My Sister Eileen (1955), Touch of Evil (1958), and The Manchurian Candidate (1962). JAMIE LEE CURTIS (b.1958) made her first impressions in a series of teen-oriented slasher movies, beginning with Halloween (1978). She soon broke out of that niche, however, proving herself a skillful and versatile actress in films such as Trading Places (1983), A Fish Called Wanda (1988), True Lies (1994) and The Tailor of Panama (2001). Fine condition.
