THE GOOD GUYS AND BAD GUYS MOVIE CAST: ROBERT MITCHUM and GEORGE KENNEDY
Mitchell, crouched with rifle in hand, confers with a prone Kennedy in a still from the film.
Photograph signed: "Robert/Mitchum", "George Kennedy". B/w, 9¼x7. Movie still from The Good Guys and the Bad Guys (1969). ROBERT MITCHUM (1917-1997) played mostly villains early in his film career, including Out of the Past (1947) and Cape Fear (1962). In 1945, he starred in The Story of G.I. Joe and earned his first and only Oscar nomination. He also portrayed detective Phillip Marlowe in Farewell My Lovely (1975) and The Big Sleep (1978), and starred in the TV miniseries The Winds of War (1983) and its sequel, War and Remembrance (1989). GEORGE KENNEDY (1925-2016) has acted in over 170 movies and TV shows, including roles in Have Gun, Will Travel, Maverick and Rawhide as well as movies like The Dirty Dozen and an Oscar for his role as Dragline in Cool Hand Luke. He's probably best known to modern audiences for his appearance in 1970's Airport and its three sequels, not to mention his role opposite Leslie Nielsen as Capt. Ed Hocken in three Naked Gun movies. In The Good Guys and the Bad Guys, lawman Mitchum teams up with former outlaw Kennedy to hunt down the new leader of Kennedy's old gang. Corners lightly worn and creased. Adhesive residue on verso. Fine condition.
