Six-foot-ten MANNING, born in 1966, led University of Kansas to the 1986 Final Four and 1988 NCAA National Championship and graduated as the school's all-time scorer. He was first overall draft pick for the Clippers in the 1988 draft and played pro ball until 2003, staying with the Clippers until the 1993-94 season. He scored an average of 14 points a game, with his highest average of 22.8 points coming during the 1992-93 season. After leaving the NBA, he took a job as director of student athlete development and team manager at his old school before taking the head coach job at Illinois State University for the 2006-07 season. Seven-foot BENJAMIN, born Lenard Benoit Benjamin in 1964, was picked in the first round of the 1985 draft and was a pro until the 1999-2000 season; the 1990-91 season was his last with the Clippers. He averaged 11.4 points a game. The 1990-91 season was his best season, when he averaged 14.9 a game. A valuable defensive player, he's Clippers career leader in blocked shots and blocked shots per game. GRANT, nicknamed "The General", was born in 1965. He was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 1985 draft, but was traded to the Clippers before the start of the season. He played pro ball until the 2000-01 season, playing seven seasons with the Clippers. He averaged 7.9 points per game and averaged 13.9 points during his best season, the 1989-90 season. He played in Europe after his American career, playing particularly welll with Aris BC, in Thessaloniki, Greece. NORMAN, born in 1964, was 19th overal pick in the 1987 draft and was a pro until the 1996-97 season, six with the Clippers. He averaged 13.5 points per game; his best season was 1988-89, when he averaged 18.1 points per game. KIMBLE, born Gregory Kevin Kimble in 1966, led 11th-seeded Loyola to the Elite Eight in 1990 before being picked by the Clippers as eighth overall draft pick. Plagued with injuries, he averaged 6.9 points a game as a rookie and was traded to the Knicks in 1992, where he was released after only nine games. GARRICK, born in 1966, was drafted by the Clippers in the second round of the 1988 draft. He played four seasons of pro ball, three with the Clippers, and averaged 5.4 points per game. The 1989-90 season was his best; he averaged 7 points per game. Six-foot 11-inch BUTLER, born in 1966, played three seasons of pro ball, his last with the Clippers, and averaged 1.4 points per game. Six-foot-eight BALL, born in 1968, played one season, the 1990-91 season, of pro ball and averaged 1.1 points per game.
