Basketball signed: "Mitchell/Kupchak", "Lamar Odom", Brian Shaw", "Jerry Buss" and "Sasha Vujacic". Purple and gold "Magic" basketball (named for Lakers great Earvin "Magic" Johnson), signed by all five in black sharpie in the side panels. Gerald "Jerry" BUSS (b. 1934) purchased the Los Angeles Lakers in 1979. During his tenure, the Lakers have won 10 NBA championships! Buss has owned several other sports franchises, including (until 2006) the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks. Mitchell "Mitch" KUPCHAK (b. 1954) has been general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers since the 2000-1 season. A 1975-6 All-American with North Carolina and a member of the gold-medal American men's basketball team at the 1976 Olympics, he played pro ball with the Washington Bullets (1976-81), where he was named 1976-7 Rookie of the Year, and Los Angeles Lakers (1981-6). Acquired by the Lakers at the urging of Magic Johnson, he helped the team win the 1985 NBA title. Brian SHAW, spent 14 years in the NBA (1988-2003), the last four years with the Lakers. He was a member of the NBA championship teams of 2001 and 2002. Lamar ODOM, who reached the NBA in 1999, has been a Laker since 2004 and a key member of the championship units of 2009 and 2010, playing in every game for the team in both seasons. Slovenian Sasha VUJACIC, a Laker since he joined the league in 2004, was another key member of both those title winning teams. Fine condition.
