Shown as James Bond and Andrea Anders in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), the 9th James Bond film and the second to feature Roger Moore as the MI6 agent with the license to kill. On screen for half a century, English actor Moore (1927-2017) starred in three TV series, Ivanhoe, The Persuaders and, most famously, The Saint (as Simon Templar, a Bond-type character who predates Bond in print, 1967). He was cast as James Bond in seven films, from Live and Let Die (1973) to A View to a Kill (1985). Moore, a KBE, titled his autobiography My Word is My Bond In recent years, most of Moore has frequently served as a documentary narrator.
