Inscribed photograph signed "To Chris!/Best Wishes/Dolenz". B/w, 8x10. Dolenz, born George Michael Dolenz, Jr. 1945, is an American entertainer best known as the drummer and lead vocalist Micky for the made-for-TV band The Monkees (1966-1968), writing a few of the band's songs, singing the hits "I'm a Believer" and "Last Train to Clarksville" and even co-writing and directing the show's final episode. He started his entertainment career in 1956 when he starred in two episodes of the TV series Circus Boy (1956-1958). After The Monkees, he tried to continue his recording career, recording several singles in the 1970s and going on several reunion tours. He's also done voice-over work for cartoons and directed a stage version of Bugsy Malone that featured a then-14-years-old Catherine Zeta-Jones. Lightly toned and creased. Part of signature is faint but legible. Otherwise in fine condition.
