THE NEW YORK GIANTS CO-SIGNED BY: JEFF HOSTETLER, STEPHEN BAKER, JIM BURT, BART OATES, MARK COLLINS, STEVE DEOSSIE, RAY HANDLEY, WILLIAM ROBERTS, PERRY WILLIAMS, JUMBO ELLIOTT
This Giants pennant is signed by members of the team's 1991 roster, its first season after the team's second Super Bowl XXV win, with their jersey numbers. The logo portrayed on this helmet has the team's old "GIANTS" logo, which the team changed in 2000. This means that items like this have become increasingly rare.
Pennant signed "Will Roberts 66", "Ray Handley", "Jim/Burt/#37", "Bart/Oates", "Mark Collins/#25", "Jeff/Hostetler/#15", "Jumbo/Elliot/15", "Steve DeOssie/99", "Perry Williams" and "Steve Baker 85" plus 14 unknown signatures, all in silver ink. 29¾x12. Triangular felt, printed blue, white and red, with red felt trim. Most of the signers on this pennant are members of the 1991 New York Giants roster, including Super Bowl XXV-winning quarterback Jeff Hostetler and 1991 coach Ray Handley. The helmet portrayed on this pennant has the team's white upper-case "GIANTS" logo. The Giants dropped this helmet logo in 2000 in favor of a lower-case "ny" logo, reminiscent of the helmet logo used by the team from 1961 to 1975. Because of this change, Giants items with the old upper-case logo have become increasingly rare. Some writing is lightly smeared. Otherwise in fine condition.
