THE NEW YORK METS
Large photograph (20x16) of the historic Shea Stadium, now demolished, signed by 34 New York Mets
Photograph signed: "John Franco", "Rick Aguilera", "Benny Ayala", "Ray Knight", "Greg Goossen", "Gary Carten", "Pat Zachry", "Bruce Berenyi", "Doc Gooden", "Bob Ojeda", "Jon Matlack", "Jesse Orsoco", "Kevin Elster", "Hojo Johnson", "Wally Backman", "Duke Snider", "Darryl Strawberry", "Davey Johnson", "Terry Leach", "Bob Friend", "Roberto Hernandez", "Dave/Roberts", in blue felt tip. 34 in total, with 11 unidentified. Color, 20x16. Picture of New York Mets game at the historic Shea Stadium signed by 34 New York Mets in blue felt tip. Shea Stadium, which was opened in 1964 as the home of the New York Mets, was demolished in 2009. Due to original design to be a multi-use stadium, Shea was ill-fitted for exclusive baseball usage, and was planning to be replaced as early as the 1990's. The New York Mets now play at Citi Field, playing their first game in April of 2009. Corners slightly worn. Fine condition.
