THE OUTLAWS IS COMING MOVIE CAST: NANCY KOVACK and ADAM WEST
Shown with The Three Stooges in a scene from the 1965 film The Outlaws is Coming in this 4x6 black and white photograph.
Inscribed Photograph signed: "To Mark/Nancy Kovack" and "Adam/West" in black felt tip, B/w 4x6. Accompanied by an unsigned, B/w 4x6 photograph showing The Three Stooges in The Outlaws is Coming. Actress NANCY KOVACK starred in Jason and the Argonauts (as Medea, 1963), The Great Sioux Massacre (as Mrs. Custer, 1965) and the Elvis Presley vehicle Frankie and Johnny (as Nellie Bly, 1965). Her TV guest appearances included several episodes of Bewitched (1968), in which she played Darrin's wife in an alternate world where Darrin never met Samantha. After marrying conductor Zubin Mehta in 1969, Kovack phased out her acting career and became active in musical circles. In 1965, ADAM WEST (born William West Anderson in 1928), who began acting in 1959, was cast as millionaire Bruce Wayne, aka "The Caped Crusader", in TV's smash hit Batman. Although he vowed to distance himself from the role after the series was cancelled in 1968, West lent his vocal talents to two animated series: The New Adventures of Batman (1977) and Batman: The New Adventures (1992). He also expressed disappointment over not being offered a cameo role in Batman: The Movie (1989), and in 2003, West appeared with his TV co-star, Burt Ward, in the made-for-television movie, Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt.
