Show Bill Cover signed: "Cab Calloway", "Mary Jo Catlett", 5½x9. Undated front cover (only) for the Lunt Fontanne Theatre production of The Pajama Game . Famed Cotton Club orchestra leader CAB CALLOWAY (1907-1994), one of the premier entertainers in jazz, is best known for his renditions of "Minnie the Moocher" and "St. James Infirmary Blues" and for his "Hi di Ho" delivery. Calloway also displayed his talents in several films, including The Big Broadcast (1932), The Singing Kid (1936), Manhattan Merry-Go-Round (1937) and 1943's Stormy Weather, which also starred Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, Lena Horne and Dooley Wilson. MARY JO CATLETT, primarily a TV actress, portrayed housekeeper Pearl Gallagher on 26 episodes of the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes. She was nominated for an Emmy in 1990 for her role on General Hospital. She is the voice of Mrs. Puff on the cartoon series Sponge Bob Square Pants. This revival of the classic musical ran for 65 performances at New York's Lunt Fontanne Theatre in 1973-1974).
