Autograph note signed: "To Stanley -/ Best wishes -/ Alice Faye Harris" and "Phil Harris" in faded black ink. 1 page, 5¾x4¼. ALICE FAYE (1915-1998) was a chorus girl who rose to movie stardom in such films as In Old Chicago (1938), Rose of Washington Square (1939) and Tin Pan Alley (1940). She also co-starred with husband Phil Harris in a popular radio comedy series. Semi-retired thereafter, Faye remained popular on TV and in nightclub appearances. Comedian and bandleader PHILHARRIS (1904-1995), a regular on Jack Benny's radio show (1936-1946), popularized the song That's What I Like About the South. Married to actress Alice Faye from 1941 until his death, he co-starred with her on the radio show The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show(1948-1954), episodes of which show up frequently on radio tape and CD collections. Toned in margin. Light surface creases. Binding holes in left margin. Ink shows throughout on verso. Ink slightly faded. Otherwise, fine condition.
