The Philadelphia Experiment (1984) is a sci-fi action mystery following a 1943 sailing crew, David Herdeg (Paré) and his fellow shipmate Jim Parker, who find themselves in an experiment that goes horribly wrong, sending them time travelling into 1984. American actor Michael Paré (b.1958) got his big break on The Greatest American Hero (1981-1983), starring as Tony Villicana. Since then he's had over 90 screen appearances, including Streets of Fire (1984), The Lincoln Lawyer (2011) and most famously Eddie and the Cruisers (1983) and its sequel Eddie and the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives! (1989). Most recently he has performed in Wings of the Dragon (2013) and as Detective Harris in The Vatican Tapes (released 2014). Nancy Allen, born in New York City in 1950, got her start in the 1962 comedy Money in My Pocket before landing roles in The Last Detail (1973) and as cruel teenager Chris Hargensen in Carrie (1975). A frequent leading lady since 1975's Forced Entry, she's starred in I Wanna Hold Your Hand (1978), Dressed to Kill (1980), Blow Out (1981), Poltergeist 3 (1988), Strange Invaders (1983) and The Philadelphia Experiment (1984). Allen's most memorable role, though, is probably as tough Detroit cop Anne Lewis in all three Robocop movies, an appropriate role for the daughter of a New York City police officer. Fine condition.
